Academic Videos

Note on Audios and Videos made by Educators of Eklavya.

The teaching-learning journey was a challenging one this year that went by and the educators started thinking how to conduct classes for their students, each one tried her best to make learning interesting in the difficult times. With the vision of finding students happy to learn throughout the year, the educators started making short audio and video recordings.  Each audio or video was of two, five or at the most ten minutes.

The lessons were divided into small, understandable topics and various kinds of videos were made – some using scientific apparatus in the laboratories, some in the open and beautiful campus of the school and some in the classroom when the blackboard was required. This exercise was meant to help students reinforce what they were learning at home and to watch and re watch the videos as many times as they needed to clear the concept or for thorough revision before the exams. When the student missed a class due to connectivity issues, or non-availability of a laptop or device, the downloaded videos and audios helped the student catch up with the class.

It also helped parents to understand the concept and help their child study. These helped the students to make detailed notes and also write their assignments. Not only that, these audios and videos could be used by the students to study at their own pace, at their own convenient time and for their benefit.
