spot a smaller word in a bigger word is opened through this exercise. |

Methodology: |
The teacher puts the word
“HIPPOPOTAMUS” and reads the word loudly with the children then she says
that this hippopotamus has eaten other smaller word friends and that she is
going to find out the words he has eaten she finds words like “pot”,
“pit”- points out how she got them and writes them down – now she asks
them to help her and complete the exercise. |
