Objective / Contents:

-To develop reading, listening, comprehending skills.

-To develop logical thinking, analyzing and sequencing skills.

Methodology:

The educator shall take the photocopy of the lesson she intends to teach (or photocopy the passage). The chapter should be divided in 8 parts and cut stripes of the page you have photocopied.  Divide the children in the class in 8 groups ( each group may have 2 or 3 children) .  Give each group a chit. Then each group will read aloud their chit one by one.  Others will be listening  carefully and try to get the whole story.  Later they need to arrange themselves in order (sequence) and read the their chits to get the whole story.  Later the educator shall ask them questions to check and asses their understanding.

Aids Used:

Photocopy of the passage or the chapter in the prose.

The photocopy to be cut into 8 parts.

 ( If the chapter is too long or children are more, then instead of 8 you may  cut  the photocopy in more parts)

 Write the whole story in your own words.

If it is the chapter of the prose , question and answer of the same can be given.
