Objective / Purpose

 

Methodology

First children will make a circle. Teacher will ask every body to count one by one. After that she will ask to count again but every alternate child will count with mind so neighbouring child have to remember his count. Third time will be little tougher. This time after first child counting two children will count in mind so fourth one have to remember the her count and similarly 7th one ..... Number can began with anywhere so children have to start from their only e.g. 187- - - - - 193-------- etc.

Teacher will write some number on floor on two side. After that she will divide children in two groups. One child will come from each group. Children will ask to jump on the number that they have to skip 2 time 3 time. Those who reach first that group get points. This game will play many time. Once children understand this concept teacher will give work page nos 44 to 47 from CD-3

Successor: A number that comes just after another no.

Example of successor: 429, is successor of 428

Predecessor: Just before another number

Example of predecessor 389, is predecessor of 390.

After giving few more example she will ask to complete page no 41 from CD-3
