practically that matter (insoluble) occupies space and water level rises when
pebbles are put into a beaker containing water. |
Methodology |
Take a beaker,
fill it half with water. Put some pebbles into the beaker. Show the beaker and
tell the children to observe what happens. Put few more pebbles and again ask
the children if they can find any change. Children will try to say "water
level has increased (in their own way). The same can be related with the story
of thirsty crow. |
