Methodology |
Fill up water in a
water-tub. Put light weighted object like rubber cork, plastic lid, small piece
of wood, paper boat etc. in the tub filled with water. Tell the children to
observe what happens. Then tell the children slowly that these objects remain on
water. The objects are floating over the water. Similarly put in
few heavy objects like stone, iron nails or pins. Then explain the
children that the objects which go down ore said to be sinking. |
