Teaching Opportunity for Foreign 
Students at Eklavya

Eklavya School, Ahmedabad is a co-educational, English medium day school, which aims to provide an all-round education to each student, through an enjoyable and innovative curriculum implemented by giving individual attention to each child. It started in June 1997, with 34 children in classes 1-3, and now has 1300 students and 110 teachers in Nursery -12 classes. The school is affiliated to the ICSE Board, New Delhi.

Eklavya welcomes foreign students who are on sabbatical after 12th or Graduation for a short term teaching experience. It is a unique opportunity for foreign students to work in a world class school.

The students will get an opportunity to learn/experience, inter alias :

-Classroom management skills
-Innovative teaching methodologies
-Making and Using Teaching Aids
-Participate in Mother’s Workshops
-Participate in Individual Parent-Educator Meetings
-Visit reputed schools in Ahmedabad
-Visit many organisations other than schools of International repute
-Attend self development workshops and seminars
-Dealing with Special Children

Stipend and Other Facilities: Selected Candidates will be paid Rs. 10,000/-  to 15,000/- per month (which is enough for a comfortable stay at Ahmedabad), free shared accommodation and free to and fro transportation from city to the Eklavya Campus. Eklavya Education Foundation will not pay air fare for joining or return.
