Methodology |
First teacher will explain meaning of expanded form. She will give one example of chair from class. She will ask children to look at the chair and explain that what are the materials used for making this chair. If chair will be separated there are wood, rubber rude nails are in this chair. So wood, iron-rude, nail and rubbers are expanded form of this chair. Other way you can tell that this chair made out of wood+iron-rud+nail+rubber. We can expand number too. No 972 made out of 900+70+2. We called them expanded form of 972=900+70+2 She will give few more examples of expanded form with lots of practice then will ask to complete page no 39 from CD-3. |
