Make understand uses of these sign in-between bigger and small numbers |
Methodology |
First teacher will show two pencils, one will be smaller than the other one. First teacher will put taller pencil and gap and then the smaller one. There will be two sign board of >,<. She will call one child and will ask the child which sign should put in-between these two pencil. After that she will ask two children come to front one of them will be shorter then other. She will ask children what sign use in-between them. She keep on changing their places. Then she will write on the board some numbers and again ask use proper sign. She will tell that in math there is special way to read the numbers E.g. 5678>2345, we read this number like this: 5678 is greater than 2345, We can’t say that 2345 is lesser than 5678 3382<9382, we read this 3382 is lesser than 9382 we can’t say that 9382 is bigger than 3382 After this teacher will ask to complete page no. 42 from CD-3 |
